Structured Silence AW26
Structured Silence A/W 26 is a collection inspired by my late grandfather, Tashi.
I remember him as a quiet, yet sophisticated figure.
In his younger days, he wore beautifully tailored suits that fit him like they were made for his body alone.
This collection echoes the same sophisticated silence. Hence the name.
Crafted from black Gonam wool ( Tibetan Sheep Wool), the fabric carries a natural structure and resilience, much like the plateau where he grew up.
The silhouette merges the discipline of a classic tailored jacket, complete with padded shoulders and double rear vents, with the diagonal wrap of a Tibetan Chupa.
Inside, it’s lined with Tibetan Red Alpine cotton. It reminds me of the closeness I shared with him, a small, personal detail that feels like carrying a piece of his memory. With four pockets; two inside, two outside, this unisex piece is as functional as it is thoughtful.
Every handwoven detail, every carefully chosen fabric, carries a little of the care and devotion I put into making it. The Tibetan Chupa label at the finish is a nod to tradition.
